HOW TO TEACH INCURABLE SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS TO UNDERGRADUATE NURSING STUDENTS: A SCOPING REVIEW

ABSTRACT Objective: to group and synthesize the studies that address teaching of Incurable Sexually Transmitted Infections for undergraduate Nursing students in world (1989-2020). Method: a scoping review according Joanna Briggs Institute. The search strategy was carried out PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, Web Science LILACS. Two reviewers selected extracted data independently. Results: after searching removing duplicates, 41 met established criteria were included. Content analysis resulted three categories: Teaching Scenarios Strategies; Focus; Effectiveness. Final considerations: educational actions effective increasing knowledge, reducing stigma anxiety, sensitivity promoting care. this theme is important profession’s work on epidemiological indices training prevention promotion health.
